Winds Air Flying Club offers the most affordable membership and hourly rates in Mid-Michigan.

An annual membership fee of $600 gives you access to all aircraft and the simulator, provided you have completed prerequisite check-rides and logged time. Most aircraft are available at hourly dry rates, measured on the Hobbs meter. An hourly wet rate is charged for the RV.

Insurance Requirements

Because of insurance requirements and changes in the sport pilot regulations, all club members are required to complete all information in the Personal and Pilot categories of Flight Circle, with the following exceptions: 

1. Under Personal information, you will not need to fill out the section requesting passport information. 

2. Under the Pilot information section, you will not need to fill out TSA information unless you are an instructor.

This needs to be completed by 12/31/25. For those that don't get this information completed by this date, you will lose access to Flight Circle scheduling.

Additionally, the insurance company is REQUIRING all members to complete the pilot history form.  Please complete this form in its entirety with applicability to our club aircraft and return to our office c/o Richard Sack.  This too must be completed by 12/31/2025.
